AMERICANWR BALCH

Flying Meatloaf Records is pleased to announce its first Welsh-language release: Americanwr Balch. The single was released for download and streaming on March 29, 2024.

Americanwr Balch (‘Proud American’ in Welsh) is a tongue-in-cheek poke at American attitudes,” says Pawlie. “While travelling around Wales last year, I made lots of new friends who are equally concerned about America’s trajectory. I started wondering if Welsh listeners might enjoy hearing a Brit from California . . . take the piss out of America . . . in Welsh! Hopefully listeners will chuckle and enjoy the tongue-in-cheek message. It’s not a patriotic song!”
